rainbow sorbet crazy crochet blanket





I couldn't help it, I just felt like it was so sorbet looking! This is finished now, all twin size goodness of it...hope you like it too. Soon to Etsy land.

I love the border on the blanket! Could you share the border pattern? Or provide more of a close-up so I could copy it? Thanks!! I'm really into borders lately....The blanket is wonderful. I was contemplating doing a twin size for my daughter's bed.

Hi Ann. What I did was real simple. After desired length of single crochet, I simply went all around the edge with single crochet, per my desired color/ yarn choice and when I got to the the outside edge round I crocheted a simple picot I think it is called. Single crochet, chain 2, single crochet, chain 2 all the way around working 2 single crochet, chain 2, 2 sc at the corners. I love how it turned out!! Thanks for loving it too!

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
