What does a girl do when she cannot find the missing shortcake pan.....well, she improvises and uses her very cute, new ramekins she got for Christmas!!

Love these!

What do you think?

Strawberry Shortcake Ramekins

1 box shortcake
1 package strawberries, thawed with a very little sugar and water
1 pint of heavy cream

Make short cake
pour into ramekins,
bake as directed but shorter time

Smoosh strawberry mixture
Make homemade whip cream

After cooling a bit, make hole in cake, pour in some berries and cover with whip cream...eat and enjoy..yum!!

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
