happy birthday to the best mom/ grandma in the world!!!
How can one express the gratitude one has for such a special grandma? How can one show the gratefulness needed for a mother that loves and gives so freely, fully, selflessly, humbly, generously, unconditionally, continually....giving up everything for our family always but especially during this last year of our unique trials. I could go on and on. Writing this made me realize I need to get separate and group grandma photos way more often!!
mother, how can we express
our love for you and
how you bless
the never ending hours you give
the hugs, the love,
the way you live
grandma, how can we tell you
the way you're there
you come through
even as you soar above
in your plane
we feel your love
but we know within our heart
you'd give it up
right from the start
if that is what you'd have to do
to help your family
out it's true
we know you've done it all before
to help in trials
of those you adore
all the prayers you freely pray
your precious boy
so ill that day
you put your arms around your brood
always giving and
doing good
glad the Lord provided you
to be around and
coming through
thank you beloved grandma /mother
for all of us
there can be no other.....
Thank you mom / grandma, for all you've done, for being there, you're the best and we couldn't have gone through this last year without you!!!
God Bless YOU.

count down to a cure
It's weird, but I think we are actually living in a way that feels almost normal! Braveheart is doing very well with this phase so far. He is adjusting still though. His hair is growing in. He still gets tired, but overall he has had lots of energy.
Please pray for him as we have a virus going through the house and Braveheart started coughing last night. He can get a virus, but it takes longer to heal and if he gets a fever with it, we have to go into the hospital. So, today he is slow and very tired with this strain on his immune system. Thanks for catching up with us and praying for us!
Here is the wonderful grandma helping him with his math. We are so thankful that his brain is getting back in the groove here.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?
Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
