blast off!!


Sunday was a beautiful day! Abby was too ill to go to church but not bedridden and we knew Bryce's counts were dropping but he was feeling much better. Therefore, Glenn decided we were all going to drive off and shoot our rockets as a family. The weather was perfect and being outside is low risk for Bryce. We had such a nice family time.

Every Rocket blaster's worst nightmare. The wind took Glenn's rocket right in to a voltage line...:(

We had a great family time at the Princeton, IL High Power Rocket Launch. The kids enjoyed launching there rockets and watching some really large rockets blast off up to 16,000 feet. It was a lot of fun. I hope the kids want to build and launch some more.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
