happy valentines day


Well, we had a lovely Valentine day today. Mostly our celebration happened last night. Braveheart has had pizza on the brain and so we held him off until last night when it was dad's 'Friday' and after pay day. See the gourmet meal we ate?

Fresh roses add to the atmosphere. I miss fresh flowers.


T was on cookie duty. He did a great job creating our family valentine cookies.

Aren't they sweet?


We invited the gramster over too and played Charades.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
