spring garden time

I just love days like today.  Such lovely weather, sitting outside with the family, getting outdoor things done.  Yankin' with my man.  Today he tilled my garden. Yee Hawww!

Here is what I have for now:

Started indoors:

broccoli
cucumbers
tomato roma
tomato cherry

Plant to start in garden soon:

variety of lettuces
mustard greens
summer squash
snap peas
beets
beans
spinach

I hope I didn't forget anything.  I plan to eat or juice these.  I am hoping to be overflowing with cukes to juice.  I can't wait to fill my arms with all the goodies and bring them in and..oh you get the idea.  We'll keep you posted.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
