Hello again!

I surely would like to keep more active on here, if for no other reason than to keep track of all my quilty/ crafting activity and other major life happenings.
I love to keep track of my reading, and the reading of my children, which for the littles, is pretty out of my control now, since they are so grown up and independent. I only have two of my four little precious gifts home with me and they are now a Sophmore and Junior!
Where does the time go??

So, here is a picture of my sweet kitties for you to enjoy. We were so blessed by God to get these two little snickers of sweetness.
Our first cat, Houdini (changed from Skittles due to her amazing ability to get out of any type of contraption to keep her contained), is our tabby orphan kitty. She has brought us such joy after our big loss of our Brave boy. We fed her and since my allergies seemed to have become 'outgrown', we kept her. She however, is not a 'cuddly or lap cat', so soon we found ourselves able to get our kitty loving hands on a second cat, we were so thankful!
Introducing our little Misumi. It is Japanese, named by our daughter, meaning 'pure beauty'. She was from a litter of a friend, whose cat was a good mama, nursed her babies, she purrs easily and loves to cuddle!!
Above is another spot she loves to stretch out upon, in the evenings, as we are settling down.
We are in love!!
Now, stay tuned for more fiber n' fabric adventures as I share what I am doing.
I will update my list starting in 2017 just to start somewhere and not worry about back tracking too much, although I would love to get 2016 listed as well.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
