pinewood derby

Here they are, finally. Look at this one above and see all the work that my man did to help the kids make really cool cars. He loves it and is really good at it. My kid's cars always win, it's amazing. Glenn's even won the family and championship races!! He and I ended up racing each other in the family race. It was fun.

What a great family picture that is -- just missing the mom, but that's the way it usually is with us behind the camera! Awesome Dad Time!
Now, if you would just click on the picture of Caroline it will come up large enough that I think you will be able to see how much she weighs :)

That looks like fun, my boys would have loved doing something like that, who organises it?

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
