goodbye chickies.....



I have to say that this has been one of the biggest blessings to our entire family! Everyone learned so much through this experience. The children gained immeasurable knowledge and skills in caring for them. It is such a miracle to witness the birth of each chicken and how God designed the whole process. We really loved our little chickie family. We were sad to see them go, but alas...we are unable to keep chickens here. We will be doing this again!!

We were just talking chickens at co-op yesterday and Iwas thinking of you! Every now and then I think I want chickens, but then I think better of it. We will add YOU to our prayer list along with B.

Why MAGNANIMOUS?

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of the American Language defines Magnanimity as such:
MAGNANIM'ITY, n. [L. magnanimitas; magnus, great, and animus, mind.] Greatness of mind; that elevation or dignity of soul, which encounters danger and trouble with tranquillity and firmness, which raises the possessor above revenge, and makes him delight in acts of benevolence, which makes him disdain injustice and meanness, and prompts him to sacrifice personal ease, interest and safety for the accomplishment of useful and noble objects.
