Magnanimous!

Well, I have been wanting to start a blog for some time. It always ends up on the bottom of my list. I guess I don't really have time these days and yet I don't have time not to. I find writing about our family's lives a bit like a theraputic hobby; a way to let friends and loved ones know how we're doing and what's up with the children's school. I used to just send out emails, but this is so much better since only the 'truly' interested people will read. Not to mention the part I like best..as my friend Stacy puts it...."my scrapbook without the mess." I love that, especially in light of our families current assignment. The carepages have been and still are a theraputic outlet for us and a sure way to stay in touch and request prayer while we are isolated here, but I long for an additional way to share more of our entire family experiences.
So here I am at the hospital trying to figure this blog out, so I may mess this up, I'm not sure. Either way, you may be wondering why I labelled this blog MAGNANIMOUS. Well, I found this word many years ago when I was at the beginning of my homeschool journey. What does it mean?

1. Courageously noble in mind and heart
2. Generous in forgiving; eschewing resentment or revenge; unselfish.

I immedietly loved this word. I guess, as far as words go, you could say we were friends. Like many friends, we haven't seen each other in our busy life for some time...until Bryce became ill. Suddenly I can't keep magnanimous away. Precluding the blessing and strength we derive from God's word, MAGNANIMOUS is a word that just fits lately. People often ask me about Bryce, what he is like or comment on his attitude through all the trials and tribulation he has endured in his young life. I often use this word to describe him.....MAGNANIMOUS!!!!
